摘要

One of the most important mechanical properties of a continuous fibre reinforced composite is its resistance to delamination. A popular approach to characterize the propagation of interlaminar cracks has been through the application of linear-elastic fracture mechanics (LEFM) which enables the critical strain energy release rate or fracture toughness G_(IC), to be deduced.
