摘要

The pilot method for producing a demountable thermomechanicaljoint of pipelines using couplings made of shape-memory alloys based on titanium nickelide modified by iron or niobium is developed. The properties of Ti-Ni-Fe and Ti-Ni-Nb alloys are studied; i.e., their elemental and phase composition is determined, their microstructure is examined, the phase-transition temperatures are found, the as well as their mechanical and thermomechanical characteristics are determined. In the developed method for producing the demountable thermomechanical joint of pipelines 6 to 36 mm in diameter using couplings made of Ti-Ni-Fe and Ti-Ni-Nb alloys, the best version is to involve the effect of reversible shape memory of the coupling material. A comparison of joints using couplings made of these alloys show that the application of couplings made of Ti-Ni-Nb alloy is more preferable than the application of couplings made of Ti-Ni-Fe alloy.
