Properties and catalytic activity of NOx reduction of alumina-titania catalysts prepared by sol-gel method

摘要

The alumina-titania catalysts were prepared fromvarious alumina and titania sources by sol-gel method, whichwere metal alkoxide and metal alkoxide modified with organicgroups. Specific surface area, pore size distribution, solid acidityand catalytic activity of NO reduction for the alumina-titaniacatalyst depended on the alumina and titania sources. Thealumina-titania catalysts prepared from metal alkoxide foralumina source and metal alkoxide modified with organicgroups for titania source exhibited higher activity of NOreduction than the other alumina-titania catalysts. Catalyticactivity of NO reduction for the alumina-titania catalystsdepended on specific surface area and solid acidity. It wassuggested that solid acidity of the alumina-titania catalystsdepended on the coordination structure of Al atoms and thehomogeneity of alumina and titania components.
