Colombia's two largest exporters announce output projections

Drummond expects to produce about 24 million tonnes of coal at its La Loma and El Descanso mines in Colombia this year. About 30 percent of the output will be sold in the Asian market, Alberto Garcia, vice president of Drummond's mining division, said at a mining conference in Cartagena. Drummond produced 23 million tonnes of coal in 2009.
