Concern is rising about the surge of terrorist attacks in Colombia and how these attacks could stain the world's perception of Colombia as a highly reliable international coal supplier. Earlier this month, terrorists exploded a bomb on a section of Cerrejon's 150 kilometer long rail line, which transports coal from the mine to Puerto Bolivar.
