Diplomacy is often considered the practice of managing relationships with various actors-governments, nongovernmental organizations, foundations, the international system, and diverse actors in research, business, and academia-in order to put foreign policy into effect. Health diplomacy is the process of engaging, motivating and communicating amongst multiple parties to develop policies and programs that advance sustainable health outcomes. To reach its full potential, the health diplomacy process requires effective communication and collaboration between partners developing a bona fide commitment to innovative solutions.
