摘要

Studies were carried over on the effect of different insecticidal seed treatments against termites with respect to wheat germination in Crop Research Farm Nawabgang of CSAUA&T, Kanpur (UP) during rabi 2010-2011. The treatments involved Bifenthrin 10 EC (Talstar)@ 0.5 g a.i. kg seed Thiamethoxam 35 FS (Cruiser) @ 0.7 g a.i kg seed Fipronil 5 SC (Regent) @ 0.3 g a.i kg seed Imidacloprid 70 WS (Gaucho) @ 0.7 g a.i kg seed Carbosulfan 25 DS (Marshal) @ 1.0 g a.i. kg seed Chlorphyriphos 20 EC (Dursban) @0.9 g a.i kg seed ‘and untreated as control for termite on wheat cv. K-8027. The data revealedsignificant differences of impact of various insecticidal treatments on the germination. Significantly highest per cent germination was recorded in Fipronil 5SC (95%) closely followed by Thiamethoxam 35 FS (92.66%) and Carbosulfan 25 DS (92.33%),Bifenthrin 10 EC (9Q.33%), Imidacloprid 70 WS (90.00%) and Chlorpyriphos 20 EC(89.66%), whereas, grain yield (g/m row and q/ha) was significantly higher in treated plot with fipronil followed by Imidacloprid and thiamethoxam ue., 38.61 and 18.17,37.38 and 17.75 and 36.25 g/m row and 17.50 q/ha, respectively.
