摘要

Semen from common carp (Cyprinus carpio) was diluted in 11 buffers, and stored at 2deg, 5deg or 22deg C. Sperm motility was preserved best for 24 h by the BWW and TLP buffers. In the other buffers (fish Ringer, KCl, Cytomix, Cortland, FRT, mannitol, FPS,NAS and TSM) motility was lost after storage for 2 h. The optimum pH and temperature for storage were 6-9 and 5deg respectively. The motility characteristics observed are described. Spermatozoa exhibited linear, circular or haphazard trajectories. Some parameters of motility showed a time-dependent decrease following activation of spermatozoa with water or solutions of low osmolality.
