Welcome to the world congress of endourology highlights edition.

I has been a tremendous privilege for us to serve as guest editors of the "Highlights" edition of the Journal of Endourology. This year's Highlights edition represents some of the very best work presented at the 28lh World Congress of Endourology held in Chicago, Illinois. The manuscripts presented in this edition represent an international collection of some of the finest and most innovative research performed by minimally invasive urologists during this past year. As always, to become a highlight manuscript represents a significant accomplishment The moderators of each session, the Endourology Society Awards Committee, and the Highlights Committee select what thay believe to be most deserving presentations to submit complete manuscripts to the Journal of Endourology. The manuscripts that are submitted then undergo the standard rigorous peer review process before being accepted as World Congress of Endourology Highlights. This year in particular we had a record number of manuscripts to review.
