摘要

The pooled analysis of variance revealed highly significant genotypic, environmental and genotype environment (GE) interaction mean squares for all the traits. Highly significant mean squares for heterogeneity between regressions were also observed for all the characters which indicated that the predictions can be made about the stability of hybrids over the environments. But the significance of deviation from regression for all the hybrids under test showed that none of the hybrids gave stable performance over environments for any fibre trait. In spite of this some hybrids like MRC 6304 Bt and Bunny Bt showed above average stability for lint yield, 2.5 per cent span length, fibre strength. Similarly MRC 6301 Bt, RCH 134 Bt and LHH 144 NBt gave stable performance for some fibre traits.
