摘要

Purpose. Maternal obesity represents a challenge in the sonographic (US) assessment of fetal weight, and is a recognized risk factor for adverse pregnancy outcome. The objective of this secondary analysis of data from the Prospective Observational Trial to Optimize Pediatric Health in fetal growth restriction (FGR) Study (PORTO) was to describe the effect of maternal obesity on the accuracy of US in determining the estimated fetal weight (EFW) and the perinatal outcome of pregnancies affected by FGR.
