Next Generation Aviation Research and Technology Park raises New Jersey's role in avionics. The phrase "location, location, location" no longer applies to residential real estate alone. As the Federal Aviation Administration's plan to modernize the National Airspace System through the year 2025 continues to evolve, southern New Jersey is quickly claiming the title of the epicenter of avionics. Located approximately seven miles from Atlantic City, the Township of Egg Harbor is already home to the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, the nation's premier laboratory complex for research, development, testing, and evaluation of air transportation systems for the past 50 years. That noteworthy distinction will be further elevated with the introduction of the Next Generation Aviation Research and Technology Park.
