ArcelorMittal Galati (Romania) postpones launch of BF No.5 to end-October

ArcelorMittal Galati (Romania) has postponed a launch date of BF No.5 (2 mtpy of pig iron) from September to late October as the unit is not ready to go on line. The furnace was stopped in November 2008 on adverse situation in the market for finished products. In March 2010, the producer started to revamp the unit in order to extend its lifespan.
