Some deals detected in Turkish scrap market, US material prevails

This week Turkish scrap market has seen deals with foreign exporters, but their number has decreased comparing with the previous week. Many steelmakers may delay scrap buying on poor sales of square billet and rebar despite increasingly softer prices for them in domestic and export markets. Some buyers defer scrap purchases in anticipation of further price cuts.
