Domestic prices in Chinese flats market pass peak levels

Demand in the Chinese domestic market for flats, which was high in the first half of August, has started to decline. Local traders have cut purchases, referring to higher inventories of flats caused by weaker end user activity. In this situation, both producers and traders have realized that prices have already reached the peak and the pace of upward trend is gradually slowing down. However, only stockists have cut domestic prices for HR flats by $5/t over the week.
