China's HR flats exporters hold prices for second straight week

Citing weaker domestic demand, China's HR flats exporters have been holding prices firm for the second straight week. They have managed to avoid price cuts owing to stable stockists' domestic prices, which still exceed export ones by $25/t on average. Prices to all destinations are similar when the market situation is normal, with the gap not exceeding $10/t (excl. 17% VAT and incl. 9% partial VAT rebate on alloyed HRC exports).
