Domestic scrap prices have dropped lower in Turkey given slackening steel product market. This week, some Turkish mills have reduced buying prices for domestic scrap by TRY 20-50/t ($9-22/t at current exchange rate) from the previous levels. The key reason behind a new decline just a week after the previous one is decreasing steel product prices on low sales.
