Iron ore prices stable, slight upturn expected till week’s end

Iron ore prices have shown no serious changes in China on October 29, but an increase is possible by week’s end, players believe. Like yesterday, Australian 62% Fe fines are quoted at $79-80/t CFR. Demand stays moderate. Some large mills which mainly sourced material only from ports, have left the market now: “Our stocks are high enough as we bought quite large quantities earlier and do need new bookings now.”
