Australia’s coking coal market is stable in the first half of the week. Weak business activity is attributed to both limited supply and low demand. Suppliers have booked most of February volumes and offer mainly batches with March shipment in the spot market. Quotations of premium coal have stood still at $172-175/t FOB Gladstone.
