Prices for long products in Iran sliding down

Demand in Iran’s long product market is still weak. Local suppliers are providing substantial discounts because of thin trade. Prices raised the week before have dropped most noticeably. In particular, 140-180 mm IPE beam has lost $23- 40/t (IRR 613-1,038/kg) over the analyzed period, and 150 mm square billet – $8/t (IRR 236/kg). Slight currency rate changes are accounted for.
