Italy’s Pittini Group acquires Riva Acciaio’s Verona plant

On December 1, the Italian longs producer Pittini Group completed the acquisition of Antonio Galtarossaplant in Verona, previously owned by Italy’s Riva Acciaio, the company said in its press release. The newlywholly controlled subsidiary company Acciaierie di VeronaS.p.a. was founded to manage the plant, equipped with twomeltshops (1.1 million tpy in total), rebar mill and wire rod mill(1.2 million tpy aggregate).
