Pakistan’s Tuwairqi Steel Mills Ltd. (TSML) is seeking a buyer of an idled plant, as reduced gas tariff wasnever agreed, international sources inform. The company has hired consultants in the USA to value themill, which was built at a cost of $340 million. According to a source familiar with the matter, the foreigndirect investments into Pakistan have been quite anaemic for quite a few years; in such conditions thereare not many incentives for investors.
