In the last 10 years some landmark visual aids for improving anatomy knowledge have appeared, including the Ackland videos, Adam Interactive and the Primal 3D Interactive 9 disc set of CD-ROMs. No matter how many books, CD-ROMs and DVDs on anatomy one has, there is always room for another. A new DVD series is being assembled which concentrates on dissecting and exploring the fascial systems of the body. The originator, Gil Hedley, PhD, is a freethinking anatomist/Rolfer now living in New Jersey. His approach is not to isolate muscles, bones, nerves, and blood vessels, but to explore connections between these in relation to the skin, superficial fascia, deep fascia and viscera.
