Common nonoperative interventions used for the treatment of frozen shoulder include nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drags (NSAIDs), corticosteroid injections, physical therapy, manipulation under anesthesia, and hydrodilation11. Intra-articular cortisone injections can lead to satisfactory results in the treatment of adhesive capsulitis, with improved range of motion and quick pain reduction.
