The Features and Regionalization of the Pteridophyte Flora in N. E. China

摘要

The analysis of geographical elements shows that the pteridophyte flora in N. E. China has a typically temperate nature. There a're close inter-relationships among N. E. China and its adjacent regions. The pteridophyte flora in this area can be classified into four natural floral regions, i. e. the Changbai Mountains, the Great Xing'an Mountains, Mongolia and North China pteridophyte floral regions. In this paper the vertical distribution of ferns on the northern slope of the Changbai Mountains, N. E. China, is also discussed.
