摘要

The method of measuring corona current and ground field from lightning eliminator with multiple conductor points and lightning rod is given. The results of the measurement are reported. We can find that the corona current of lightning eliminator is basically equal to that of lightning rod, and either of them is smaller than 70 μA. This result shows that the lightning eliminator cannot provide electrification ions enough to neutralize the charges in thunderclouds, so the lightning eliminator is basically equal to that of lightning rod. The properties of ground field in the course of lightning are reported that can be helpful to understand the feature of lightning.
