Maryland County to Clean Up Beaver Creek Watershed

Water flowing throughout Beaver Creek,Md.,Watershed is contaminated with agricultural waste and harmful materials,according to a study conducted.Six months of research revealed many streams are polluted.The watershed stretches 32 square miles,drains into Smithsburg,Boonsboro and small cities of Maryland.Volunteers are hoping Washington County officials will take action against the pollution,said Michael Saylor,an expert in the field.
