In two experiments the effect of gibberellic acid (GA(3)) on the globe artichoke cv. 'Imperial Star' was studied under Egyptian environmental conditions at National Research Centre (NRC) Experimental Station, Al-Gizah Governorate whereas collected plant samples were analyzed at the Chair of Vegetable Science, Department for Plant Sciences, Technische Universitat Munchen in Freising-Weihenstephan, Germany.
