摘要

The Jungfraujoch Global Atmospheric Watch station in the Swiss Alps is located at 3580 m asl;46.55°N,7.98°E.It is often in cloud and a dual inlet system developed by PSI allows both measurements of the total sub-micron aerosol population (dry residuals and interstitial particles)and interstitial particles alone to be made every 10 minutes.During July 2002 an Aerodyne Aerosol Mass Spectrometer was coupled to the dual inlet and was used to sample the composition of both the total particle distribution and the interstitial fraction and hence derive the mass loadings of the dry droplet residuals.In out of cloud conditions the aerosol composition can be linked to air mass history and age of the air mass.
