The book is divided into chapters according to disease category. Each chapter begins with a short introduction and then moves on to present key graphics. For example, in their chapter on Hodgkin lymphoma, Canadian experts Joseph M. Conners and Randy D. Gascoyne begin with a series of microscopy examples illustrating the key characteristics of the disease-from the Reed-Sternberg variant lacunar cells to the photographs of the CD 15 and CD30 staining characteristics of the disease. The chapter then goes on to include easy-to-read graphics illustrating staging, prognostic factors, treatment options, and late effects. The 10-page chapter is certainly not a complex discourse on treatment evolution or disease management, but it is an excellent place to turn for a quick, integrated presentation of data of interest in the disease.
