H-beam stocks rise by 10.2 percent to 264,200 tonne after 5 months of decline

Nippon Steel announced on Thursday that H-beam stocks held by members of "Tokiwa-kai", the association of distributors that deal with Nippon Steel's H-beam, the index of H-beam movement, at the end of April increased by 10.2 percent or 24,400 tonnes from the previous month to 264,200 tonnes, and the decrease was the first time in five months because the shipments decreased though the arrives kept last month level. But, because H-beam stocks decreased only 0.2 percent compared with the same month of last year and the demand is expected to increase from now, Nippon Steel Corporation think that decrease of stcoks stopped and it reached correct level.
