Waterborne Symposium Celebrates 40th Anniversary; Draws Enthusiastic Participation in New Orleans

The School of Polymers and High Performance Materials at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) sponsored the 40th annual Waterborne Symposium on February 4-8, 2013, at the New Orleans Marriott, LA. Attracting 246 participants, the educational forum celebrated its 40-year history by once again spotlighting the latest technological advances for the coatings industry. This year's symposium placed special emphasis on the need for environmental protection and high performance coatings. In addition to three days of technical presentations, the event included robust student poster sessions and the popular Technology Showcase exhibits.
