California PaintCare~R Program: A Successful First Year

ACA's California PaintCare~R program marked its first anniversary of operations on October 19, 2013, and by all accounts, the first year has been a great success. On October 1, PaintCare submitted its annual report to the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle). The report covers the first eight and a half months of the program through June 30, 2013, and details all the operational aspects and successes of the program's first year, including collection infrastructure, volume and disposition of paint collected, program costs, and education and outreach activities.
