European jet fuel stocks recovered lost ground from the French refining strikes in October. Inventories in France climbed to 975,000 tons in November from just 714,000 tons in October, as refiners came back on line and replenished tank levels. That brought total European stocks up to 7.5 million tons, but they were still 8% lower than the year-earlier mark. The weak UK economy resulted in a 12.5% year-on-year surplus in the UK, while tanks in Spain were 10.6% lower.
