摘要

Titanium cation-exchanged montmorillonite (Ti~(4+)-mont) showed high catalytic activity for the condensation reaction of glycerol with ketones or aldehydes to provide cyclic acetals under mild conditions. The solid Ti~(4+)-mont catalyst could be easily separated after the reaction and reused without any loss of activity.
