New 0-Terpenoidal Coumarins From Clausen A Excavata

Clausena excavata(Rutaceae)is a bush widely distributed in Yunnan,China.Leaves and barks of this plant have been used as folk medicine for the treatment of dysentery,enteritis,and urethra infection.' Previous researches revealed that the genus Clausena mainly contained carbazole alkaloids,"0-terpenoidal coumarins,and tetranortriterpenoids,and that omicron-terpenoidal coumarins,clauslactones A-J,in particular,clauslactone C showed inhibitory effects on TPA-induced EBV-EA activation.
