LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

摘要

As Editor in Chief of Drugs of the Future, and writing from my new position at the Prous Institute for Biomedical Research following my tenure as Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer at Thomson Reuters, I would like to welcome all our readers to the journal's 36th year of continuous publication.As you may already know, 2011 is the international Year of Chemistry and all the contributors to Drugs of the Future are very proud to have created a standard in the Medicinal Chemistry field. Since its inception, Drugs of the Future has grown as an interdisciplinary biomedical research journal publishing well-documented, peer-reviewed articles on topics emerging from the confluence of different scientific fields, anticipating new trends, advances and breakthroughs in basic and clinical research.
