The 18th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Gene and Cell Therapy (ASGCT) took place in New Orleans and brought together over 1,700 of the top researchers, clinicians, fellows and trainees worldwide in this area of research. Over 4 days the meeting consisted of plenary lectures, scientific symposia and poster sessions of the 700 plus abstracts submitted. Educational sessions and networking opportunities were also provided. This reports covers highlights of the presentations relating to new and upcoming therapies for a wide range of conditions.
