摘要

Boron isotopes are widely used in different fields of science and technology due to their significantly different nuclear properties. Light boron isotope ~(10)B has a large neutron capture cross-section in reaction ~(10)B (n, a) ~7Li of 3820 barn for neutrons with average energy 0.025 eV (thermal neutrons), while this value for heavy boron isotope ~(11)B is not higher than 0.05 barn [1]. Isotope ~(10)B is of the most practical interest because of wide application of compounds enriched with this isotope in nuclear power, nuclear engineering industry, nuclear instrument engineering, nuclear medicine [2,3].
