As a rule, physical properties of a strongly disordered and inhornogeneous structure differ from those of a homogeneous and ordered structure of the same type. A classical example of this is crystal glass, whose heat capacity Cv does not follow the Debye law (according to which it should be proportional to the cube of temperature) and linearly increases at low temperatures.
