When a vessel containing a liquid is subjected to the action of vibration in an ambient gas, specific nonlinear effects are observed. In particular, suction of gas bubbles inward into the vessel and, vice versa, floating-up of bodies heavier than liquid occurs, In other words, here we deal with an "anomalous" behavior of the system. It evolves to states corresponding to the maximum values of the potential energy (or to values close to the maximum ones).
