LIFT-OFF FOR LARGE DOOSANS: 7-Series range of forklifts - Doosan's largest - go into production in South Korea

The largest forklift trucks in Doosan Industrial Vehicle's 7-Series range have entered production. Built at the company's factory in Incheon, South Korea - also the location of Doosan's new research facility - they are designed for more demanding industrial environments, including heavy manufacturing, mining, construction and the metal and timber industries. The newest forklifts range from 10 to 16 tons. They follow the launch of Doosan's 2 to 5.5 ton models in 2014 and the 6 to 9 ton machines early this year. The new D100S-7 has a total unloaded weight of 33,488 lb. The D120S-7 is at 35,693 lb., the D140S-7 is at 39,672 lb., and the D160S-7 is at 41,877 lb.
