DIESELS AT HOME ON THE RANGER: Polaris using three-cylinder Kohler KDW diesels for two new UTVs

Kohler diesel engines are now powering two members of the Polaris family of Ranger utility task vehicles (UTV). The three-cylinder Kohler KDW1003 diesel, rated 23.4 hp, is now standard on the 2015 model year Ranger diesel and Ranger Crew diesel vehicles. Polaris said it opted for the Kohler engine in part because its low-profile overhead cam design and power.
