New 50155S crane with 202 ft. height, 8500 lb. capacity for power line construction, grain elevator work and city applications. Boom truck crane, rough terrain forklift and specialty mission vehicle manufacturer Manitex International Inc. will introduce the 50155S crane at the International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) show in Louisville, Ky., this month. The announcement follows $1.1 million in orders for the crane with a powered boom and single-piece jib. Developed for the growing power line construction market and other high reach applications, the 50155S crane has a 202 ft. height without using a two-piece jib and a reach tip height of 164 ft. with the powered boom. It is based on Manitex's 50 ton crane platform and was engineered for easier and faster setup to reduce overall operating costs.
