Near zero: tier 4 off-highway emissions regulations announced

The diesel engine industry has talked about making engines "fit into the (emissions) box." Lately, that phrasing has changed to "eliminating the box completely," a reference to the increasingly stringent standards being proposed which reduce exhaust emissions levels to near zero. The day of eliminating the box is now officially drawing near.
