What a difference a year can make. Last year in the middle of the global economic meltdown, Mecano Continental had moved into a newly built plant, featuring a small but modern assembly line. At the time, Francisco Tomas Sanchez Vera, owner and managing director of Mecano Continental of Spain, was rather optimistic about the future and said the facility had a significant margin for production increase, with an annual capacity of up to 3000 lift trucks.
