In addition to high efficiency, one of MAN Diesel & Turbo's (MDT) main goals in the development of the MGT6100/6200 gas turbine family was to achieve an environmentally friendly operation. This characteristic was tied to the development of an advanced combustion system capable of maintaining low NOx and CO values in an operating field that was as wide as possible.
