Building On A Legacy: GE introduces third generation LM6000 - the FlexAero LM6000-PH

Building on the legacy of the LM6000 and broadening its recently introduced FlexEfficiency product portfolio, GE has launched a new gas turbine, the 50 MW FlexAero LM6000-PH. The FlexAero joins GE Energy's FlexEfficiency portfolio of power conversion products, designed to provide sustainable, efficient power to the grid and enable the uptake of renewables by addressing the issues of intermittency and reliability. GE launched the first product in this portfolio, the 510 MW FlexEfficiency 50 Combined Cycle Power Plant, in May 2011.
