New Machining Center For B&G: Addition of sixth center to increase large block capabilities, accuracy and reliability

To meet the increasing demands that the energy markets have put on their business, B&G Machine has added a sixth block machining center capable of handling 2983 kW-plus engines to their machine shop in Seattle, Washington, U.S.A. "We're seeing an influx due to the demands in the mining industry and especially the oil and gas industry - specifically hydraulic hacking," said David Bianchi, vice president of sales and marketing, B&G Machine. "As we look down those paths with the current workload we have, as well as what we're forecasting, we needed to expand our capabilities in both our block department and our cylinder head department."
