When a little over two years ago, Phillips & Temro Industries acquired Emission Control Inc., a specialist in the design and manufacture of industrial catalyst systems, the move brought some immediate benefits in the form of a product line extension involving standard catalytic silencer units. But the real strategy behind the acquisition was bringing Emission Control's know-how and expertise in-house, which would allow Phillips & Temro Industries (PTI) to do even bigger and better things down the road.
